Q: Is Early Childhood eTraining a legitimate business?
  A: Yes we are. Early Childhood eTraining (a division of Training, Learning and Consulting) was established in 2004 to meet the growing need for early childhood online training for active educators. We have instructed thousands of child care professionals throughout the world toward the obtainment of child care professional development. Early Childhood eTraining corporate offices are located in Philadelphia, PA. Our instructional team includes individuals with higher education degrees and a wealth of knowledge in the early childhood field. Early Childhood eTraining’s team includes individuals who have been Council for Professional Recognition council representatives, a NAEYC validators and even a NAEYC’s national governing board’s finalists.

Q: Will I get a certificate or other documentation when I successfully complete the course?

  A: Immediately after completing the online training session you will be able to print out an official certificate of completion from our website. Additionally, you will receive an email documenting your completion of training.

Q: Are there any requirements to take these eTrainings?
  A: The following items will be needed for classes; access to a computer with printing ability, internet connection and an email account. Participants will need to complete each class within 60 days of the date the payment was made.

Q: Are these courses approved/recognized in my state?

  A: Early Childhood eTraining courses are approved in many states across the U.S. including but not limited to; New Jersey, Delaware (all topics except First Aid)Florida, Montana, California, North Dakota, Ohio, U.S. Virgin Islands and Illinois. This is not an all inclusive list. To verify state approval for specific trainings please contact our offices at admin@earlychildhoodetraining.org.

Q: Are there any discounts for these eTrainings?

  A: Yes! Individuals who are active members of the National Association of Child Development Associates (www.NACDAmembership.org) receive $5 off all materials and all trainings too. Q: Do I need a textbook?

  A: No materials needed! Everything is provided right on your computer. Simply purchase a training(s) and begin classes immediately.

Q: How do I pay for training?

  A: We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover credit cards and gift cards. We do not accept American Express at this time. If you need additional information (i.e. purchase order/invoice) regarding payment arrangements please email admin@earlychildhoodetraining.org.

Q: How can you help me meet my requirements if my state licensing representative is coming in to inspect today?

  A: With Early Childhood eTraining you can receive your certificate of completion immediately after finishing the class. So for instance, completing a one hour training with Early Childhood eTraining you will have a certificate as quickly as one hour later! No more waiting weeks for certificates to arrive in the mail.

Q: Do I receive a receipt after I make my payment?

  A: Yes, at the conclusion of purchasing training(s) you can print the confirmation page or await an email documenting this purchase. If any additional receipts are need simply email admin@earlychildhoodetraining.org.

Q: What if I am not happy with Early Childhood eTraining?

  A: Participants in our online trainings are truly happy with the quality online services that we provide. Training sales are final. If you would be less than satisfied with one of our trainings or materials please email admin@earlychildhoodetraining.org and a representative can assist you.

Q: Can I access my eTraining at any time?

  A: Yes, you can access classes 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Trainings do expire in 60 days from the date of purchase.

Q: If I'm not computer savvy, if I need help is there someone I can speak with?

  A: Yes, representatives are available via email 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Additionally telephone calls are accepted 10 AM - 4 PM EST.

Q: Can I access my courses from any computer?

  A: Yes, you can access training from any computer with internet access.

Q: Do I need to own a computer?

  A: No, you can access trainings from work, public library, friends and family computers. Anywhere there is a computer with internet and flash capabilities you may complete trainings.

Q: Is an email address required to register?

  A: Yes, we need an active email address to send you your receipt and certificate of completion. If you do not have an email account there are free email accounts available at www.gmail.com, www.hotmail.com and www.yahoo.com.

Q: Is there a limit to the number of courses I can complete in one day?

  A: No, online classes are completely self-paced. Many students complete several trainings in just one day. You may even be able to complete all state required trainings with Early Childhood eTraining in just twenty-four hours or less.

Q: I lost my Certificate of Completion. How can I get a replacement?

  A: Just email admin@earlychildhoodetraining.org and a representative can assist you with this process quickly and easily.

Q: Does this eTraining count toward CDA, CDA renewal, Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accreditation?
