  1. Participants will learn some national and state specific statistical data about child abuse and young children.
  2. Participants will discuss the four different types of child abuse and neglect.
  3. Participants will discuss their role as a teacher and as a mandated child abuse reporter.
  4. Participants will learn some signs and symptoms of child abuse and neglect and the official reporting process.
